The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. This is an un-retouched photo of a small butterfly, the "Silvery Blue". It is common mid-west, a first to show up in spring and almost a negative image when you look at it. It hung around for a good five minutes going from petal to petal, I think getting moisture...unsure...either way, it was a delight! Enjoy!
